privacy — the short version
last updated: July 25, 2026
LINC is being built in public by one person and a couple of cats. This page says what we collect and what we do with it, in plain English.
what we collect
- Your email address — if you join the founding cats list.
- Videos you submit — the cat clips you upload for interpretation.
- Correction labels — when you tell LINC "that wasn't grooming, that was kneading," we keep that correction.
how we use it
- Email — project updates only. No spam, no newsletters-about-newsletters, unsubscribe anytime.
- Videos — used to train the model. That's the whole point of LINC: it learns from real cats.
- Corrections — folded back into training so the model gets more accurate over time.
what we never do
We never sell your data. Not your email, not your videos, not your corrections. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
where it lives
Signups and stats are stored with Supabase, a hosted database service. Their own privacy practices apply to the infrastructure layer.
deleting your data
Email us (see contact) and we'll delete your email, your videos, and your corrections. No forms, no dark patterns — just ask.
